Consultation process
This involves public engagement and internal stakeholder meeting.
Bath Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) which has been produced as part of our statutory duties required by the Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) framework. It outlines the actions Bath and North East Somerset Council will take to improve air quality in the city of Bath between 2024-2029.
This AQAP supplements the Clean Air Plan. The Clean Air Plan forms part of the Government’s Local NO2 Plan initiative which is separate from the LAQM framework. Whilst the regimes are separate the plans will be complementary with both designed to reduce nitrogen dioxide (NO2). Measures from the Clean Air Plan are incorporated into the AQAP tables.
This action plan replaces the previous action plan which ran from 2011-2024 and covers the Bath Air Quality Management Area.
If you wish to make any representation with regards to the Bath Air Quality Action Plan, please go to the Bath Air Quality Action Plan consultation page by 5pm on the 10th January 2025.
