23/06/2022 - PV Panels and Battery Storage for Clutton Depot ref: 1727 Approved
The project is for reduction of carbon
emissions and energy use at Clutton depot by fitting a full roof of
PV panels for on-site renewable energy generation and to store our
own electricity. These improvements will give capacity to charge
our growing fleet of electric vehicles, increase the amount of
renewable energy locally generated and at the same time reduce the
Council’s carbon footprint.

17/06/2022 - City Centre Security Funding Draw down ref: 1726 Approved
To drawdown the next tranche of funding to
continue with the City Centre Security Project through to full
contract award. This will commit to advanced works necessary to
achieve completion in 2022/23.

16/06/2022 - RULE 16 - Appendix 1 to the Discretionary Rate Relief Policy (WL) ref: 1725 Approved
To agree the proposal relating to the Discretionary Rate Relief Policy. This gives guidance to officers administering claims for discretionary rate relief under discretionary powers provided by the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

15/06/2022 - Temporary Accommodation Scheme (Update) ref: 1724 Approved
To increase the capital budget for the
development of the Temporary Accommodation Schemes (Theobald House
& Crescent Gardens) due to increased costs. These increased
costs can be attributed to a combination of: construction delay due
to emergency usage of building during pandemic; construction cost
inflation; discovery of poor ground conditions requiring piling;
and significantly improved energy efficiency measures.

To increase the approved Supported Housing
Scheme Budget to £1.351m which will provide 14 units of
supported temporary accommodation for homeless families. This being
funded by a combination of: the Council’s Affordable Housing
Grant; use of Government funding and service supported
borrowing.
