Welcome and introductions Additional documents: Minutes: The Chair, Cllr Kevin Guy, welcomed people to the meeting and stated that everyone’s thoughts and prayers were with Her Majesty the Queen and her family at this worrying time.
He reported that, due to the cost-of-living crisis he had created a new Cabinet Portfolio with responsibility for Economic Development, Regeneration and Growth. Cllr Mark Roper has been appointed to this position. This will build on the excellent work undertaken by Cllr Richard Samuel and will help B&NES to recover from the Covid pandemic.
On being informed of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II the Chair immediately suspended the meeting.
[Arrangements are being made for the remaining agenda items to either be handled through single member decision making, or deferred to the next Cabinet meeting.] |
