A qualified CIPFA accountant and Manager, Steve is currently the Head of Corporate Governance and Business Insight for Bath and North East Somerset Council. Steve has been a member of the Avon Pension Fund all his working life, and has over 30 years’ experience working in a number of local authorities both County and Unitary Councils, all of which are members of the Avon Pension Fund. Steve has a keen interest in all aspects of the public sector, particularly governance issues, as a former School Governor and board member of a local voluntary sector organisation.
