PROPOSED DECISIONS OF CABINET MEMBERS ON MATTERS WITHIN THEIR PORTFOLIO PUBLISHED UNDER URGENCY RULE 3.5.15 OF THE COUNCIL'S CONSTITUTION

These issues have not previously been published in a Forward Plan and are being brought forward under Urgency Rule 3.5.15 of the Council's Constitution.  The decision will be taken on or after the date shown, following a 5-working-day public consultation period.  The report sent to the decision maker has been published in a previous Weekly List. The decision, once taken, will be published in a subsequent Weekly List and will not be subject to call-in.

RULE 3.5.15 - Local Authority Housing Fund Delivery Programme (WL)

Decision maker:  Cabinet Member for Built Environment and Sustainable Development

Decision:   Not before 9th Sep 2023

Lead officer:  Graham Sabourn

Decision status:  Approved

Notice of proposed decision first published: 31/08/2023

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
We are seeking to use the Urgency Procedure under the Council Constitution Section 3.5.15 General Exception, as the decision relates to securing Department for Levelling Up Housing & Communities (DLUHC) funding which has tight time constraints which we will fail to meet if we delay this decision. We believe the decision should be exempt from call in under 3.2.30 of the Council Constitution – “Exceptions to “Call-in” because the effect of a call-in alone would cause the Council to fail to comply with government requirements associated with the award of this funding.

Anticipated restriction: Part exempt  - view reasons

Explanation of anticipated restriction:
Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).
