DECISIONS MADE AT THE LEADER'S PREROGATIVE The Leader of the Council, at his prerogative:
1) AGREED on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council to the formation of a Joint Arts Committee with Keynsham Town Council; and 2) AGREED that its representation on the Joint Committee shall comprise three Members of which one shall be a Cabinet nomination and the other two Members representing wards in Keynsham.
RATIONALE The change from Keynsham Arts Working Party was proposed because the term 'working party' indicated a time-limited committee, whereas in fact the committee is a longstanding body which Keynsham Town Council wishes to continue. Consequently a Joint Committee was agreed in June 2014, subject to the agreement of Bath & North East Somerset Council.
