Improvements to Guildhall Archive Storage
Works to install air-conditioning units to
improve environmental conditions in strongrooms which are used by
Bath Record Office to store its collection. Also to reinstate
doorways and reduce air movement so as to maximise the
effectiveness of the A/C units. The purpose is to reduce the
temperature and in turn raise the relative humidity in the rooms so
that valuable and irreplaceable collections do not
deteriorate.
