Call-In Information: For consideration at Corporate PDS Panel on Monday 3rd April 2023 at 4pm. Reasons for call-in: (1) There has been no opportunity for elected members to scrutinise the proposal. Officers actions have never been scrutinised and the Cabinet Member appears to have been guided to a decision without considering the impacts to the economy, business opportunities and the negative impact to the climate emergency objectives. (2) No scrutiny of the financial implications to both the council and the community have been established. A fuller understanding of the justifications reached in this decision is needed as it is believed they do not meet the council's stated aims, especially towards Economic Development, Regeneration and Growth and are detrimental to the Climate Emergency. The Corporate PDS Panel decided to dismiss the call-in.
