Odd Down Playing Field Development

Purpose:

The Capital Programme does not include an approved budget for the Odd Down Playing Field.  This paper is seeking the appropriate approval to draw down the capital funds from the S106 account for the purposes of development out the Odd Down project.

Decision:

(1) To APPROVE inclusion of £1,232k in the 2012/13 & 2013/14 Capital Programme, allowing the scheme to proceed as planned; and

(2) To DELEGATE the final agreed project design and deliverables to the Divisional Director Tourism, Leisure and Culture.

Reasons for the decision:

The funds allocated through the S106 agreement will be correctly used to redevelop the sports facilities at the Odd Down Playfields.
