Purpose:
To extend the existing 'No vehicles except cycles' order to fit in with the new highway layout revised as part of the completed Southgate Development
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees that the following orders are to be implemented (as advertised in PEV7210/ST):
i. Extension to existing ‘Prohibition of Driving - Except for Cycles’ in New Orchard St;
ii. No Waiting At Anytime and No Loading At Anytime in Henry St;
iii. Disabled Parking in Henry St.
Reasons for the decision:
The new Traffic Regulation Orders will ensure that the spaces defined for the various functions of the street will give clear direction to users and allow parking enforcement officers to manage the spaces appropriately.
