Purpose:
Approval of the Local Transport Plan Structural Maintenance Block Capital Programme for 2011/12.The programme of expenditure aims to achieve the objectives of the Joint Local Transport Plan in accordance with Government Guidelines.
Decision:
The Cabinet Members agrees that:
The Highway Structural Maintenance Programme for 2011/12.
The Service Manager, Highways and Parking be delegated authority to alter the programme, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Service Delivery, as may prove necessary during 2011/12 within the overall budget allocation.
Reasons for the decision:
The programme of works has been developed in accordance with priorities set out in the Local Transport Plan and sound asset management principles.
