Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees that
· The revised scheme without the speed table and footpath at Beacon Road / Richmond Place should be progressed.
· The reduced waiting restrictions as proposed should be implemented.
· The existing footpath between Beacon Road and Summerfield Road.
Reasons for the decision:
The advertised waiting restrictions in the area of Beacon Road and Richmond Place were part of safer routes to school scheme, but the effect on residents was considered to be excessive and an alternative scheme involving the upgrading of an existing footway was proposed.
