To consider the points raised following public advertisement of the TRO
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees that
· The objections be over ruled and the scheme proceed as advertised.
· The contacts who made comments shown in the appendix be notified of the decision
· That a usage survey be undertaken of the parking bays in Cleveland Place during the spring 2011
Reasons for the decision:
The current parking problems in this area are a daily source of annoyance for local residents. It is considered that the introduction of residents parking will enable the proper control of on-street parking. This would include Walcot Parade and Anglo Terrace but there are a number of objections to (and support for) this.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative scheme was advertised on 26th November 2009 which did not include Walcot Parade or Anglo Terrace.
