Lovell Partnerships Ltd is renovating the Southlands Estate on behalf of Somer Community Housing Trust - in this connection, an area of land on the Weston Recreation Ground is required as a site compound - to be used as a work area to reconstruct the existing wall. Duration is approx 6 weeks
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees that:
Lovell Partnerships Ltd are granted a licence to allow them to use this land as a site compound for approximately 6 weeks
Reasons for the decision:
This decision is not detrimental to the Weston Recreation Ground Trust and the loss of land is only a temporary measure. There is also the benefit of a licence fee to the Trust.
