Purpose:

The Council has a statutory responsibility to publish on an annual basis details of Complaints made to Adult Social Services, in accordance with the Local Authorities Social Services Complaints (England) Regs 2006.  The Partnership also has this responsibility and hence this is a Joint Report

Decision:

The Cabinet Member agrees that the Complaints Procedure Annual Report 2009-10 for Adult Social Services.

Reasons for the decision:

The Council has a statutory responsibility to publish on an annual basis, details pertaining to Complaints & Representations made to Adult Social Services.  This is in accordance with the requirements of the Local Authorities’ Social Services Complaints (England) Regulations, 2006.
