Purpose:

This project will make some minor reconfiguration to offices, which will allow more staff to occupy the space. Lighting will be upgraded to LEDs and secondary glazing installed to improve energy performance.

To fully approve capital amounting to £28k from the provisional capital programme item Heritage Services Infrastructure Development

Alternative options considered:

Do nothing: This option was rejected, the office block is currently divided into small, randomly shaped rooms; this configuration does not optimise the available space.
