Purpose:
Any organisation or individual acting on
behalf of an organisation can apply for Ukraine Support
funding.
Application criteria: To be eligible for a grant your project
must:
• support Ukrainian refugees (and other refugees in Bath and
North East Somerset)
• be located within Bath and North East Somerset (or be a
local branch of a recognised broader organisation)
All applications must:
• benefit a group of people, not an individual person
• be a charity, voluntary or community organisation supporting
Ukrainians (or other refugees)
• have a constitution and valid bank account (or be part of a
lead organisation which has these things)
Types of grants available:
• Establish a new service (or extend an existing service
provision) in B&NES – up to £2,500.
• Support Ukrainians (and other refugees) in B&NES through
a one-off event – up to £2,500.

Successful applications:
• Somer Valley FM - £1,250 and a conditional sum of
£1,250
• Bath Abbey - £1,049
• Bath Mind - £1,250 and a conditional sum of
£1,250
• Rotary Club of Bath - £1,000
• Bath Community Kitchen - £2,400
Five projects have been supported with up to £9,449 being
allocated.
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 - Approve application.
Option 2 - Approve application with staggered payments.
Option 3 - Decline application.
