Purpose:
Deliver upgrade of facilities at Bath BMX
Track (Tumps/Odd Down Sports Ground) including new start gate,
toilets, water, power and club house facilities. The project fits
with our three principles to prepare for the future; deliver for
local residents and focus on prevention through an enhancement to a
valuable community asset. The project will also improve lives by
delivering more for children and young people, and supporting
healthy lives and places.
Decision:
To fully approve £40k capital budget,
fully funded by Developer CIL Contributions. It should be noted the
total project is costed at £146k. £6k will be funded by
Bath BMX and £100k has been secured by Bath BMX from Bath
Neighbourhood CIL. The £106k will be spent directly and not
form part of the councils capital budget.
Alternative options considered:
To not invest in site improvements.
