Purpose:
To undertake a number of cycle infrastructure
measures on A4 Upper Bristol Road and Beckford Road, as part of the
Government’s Active Travel funding allocation.
Decision:
To fully approve grant of £561,562.85
awarded to us from WECA, and incorporate this into our Transport
Improvement capital programme.
Alternative options considered:
Various schemes were considered but only two
would sufficiently meet the grant fund criteria and be deliverable
within the fund timescales. These were the Upper Bristol Road and
Beckford Road schemes.
