An update to the council's Local Welfare
Provision scheme.
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees to approve the revisions to the policy document and details set out in the appendix to the policy which set out how additional funding for 2021/22 should be used.
Reasons for the decision:
The policy changes will align the council’s offer of support to resident’s current needs, it will allow the council to provide support in new areas, enable more choice and convenience for residents and allow for digital service delivery. It will also enable to council to act quickly to support residents in the event of further lockdowns or emergency situations.
