Purpose:
The Homesearch allocation scheme, enables the use of Local Lettings
Plans for larger developments of new affordable housing. These can
be used to create balanced and sustainable communities. For
allocating homes in the Maynards Terrace development a Local
Lettings plan will be used as part of the allocation process, this
incorporates additional lettings criteria.
Decision:
To use a Local Lettings Plan when allocating
new affordable housing on a new housing development known as
Maynards Terrace in Clutton.
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 - To let new properties in Maynards
Terrace through the Homesearch allocation scheme without additional
lettings criteria.
