Purpose:

This report outlines changes to parking allocations in line with the hierarchy of kerb space in the Parking Strategy and their financial implications.

Decision:

The Cabinet Members agree to;

 

  1. Note the changes to parking as proposed in the report and in line with the hierarchy of kerb space.

 

  1. Support the implementation of the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to allow the changes to be implemented

Reasons for the decision:

The Parking Strategy clearly sets out the hierarchy of kerb space and the commitment to put residents first.

 

Alternative options considered:

To not agree to the proposals as set out in the report.

 

This was not accepted as the proposals are in line with the Parking Strategy and the commitment to put residents first.
