Purpose:

This report gives details of performance against the Council’s Treasury Management Strategy & Annual Investment Plan 2016/17 for the first six months of 2016/17.

 

This was approved at Cabinet and Council.

Decision:

RESOLVED (unanimously) the Cabinet agreed that:

 

1.  The 2015/16 Treasury Management Report to 31st March 2016, prepared in accordance with the CIPFA Treasury Code of Practice, is noted.

2.  The 2015/16 Treasury Management Indicators are noted.

Reasons for the decision:

The Prudential Code and CIPFA’s Code of Practice on Treasury Management requires regular monitoring and reporting of Treasury Management activities.
