Purpose:
This is to seek approval for increased charges for the street naming & numbering function to better recover the cost of providing the function.
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees to approve the revised Street Naming & Numbering charges for 2016/17.
Reasons for the decision:
These charge changes are in order to better reflect the service now being provided and to ensure that the costs of providing the service are better recovered.
Alternative options considered:
To leave the charges unchanged – this would then mean that the cost of providing the function would definitely not be wholly recovered.
