To approve capital expenditure detailed in the Council's budget as a provisional item, to progress with work to relocate and modernise the Council's waste management infrastructure.
Decision:
The Cabinet Members agree that the capital budget totalling £862k is fully approved.
Reasons for the decision:
The capital sum is required in 2016/17n to enable the delivery programme for Waste Infrastructure to progress.
Alternative options considered:
Site searches and development work have been carried out on a significant number of alternative site options, which will be updated and reviewed in the context of known future circumstances.
