Purpose:
This report gives details of performance against the Council's Treasury Management Strategy and Annual Investment Plan 2013/14 for the first 6 months of 2013/14. It was noted by Council on 14th November 2013.
Decision:
(1) To NOTE the Treasury Management Report to 30th September 2013, prepared in accordance with the CIPFA Treasury Code of Practice;
(2) To NOTE the Treasury Management Indicators to 30th September 2013; and
(3) To ASK that this Treasury Management Report and attached appendices be reported to November Council and December Corporate Audit Committee.
Reasons for the decision:
The Prudential Code and CIPFA’s Code of Practice on Treasury Management requires regular monitoring and reporting of Treasury Management activities.
