Purpose:
A Zebra Crossing is proposed on Bathwick Hill to improve road safety and enhance accessibility for pedestrians, particularly the elderly and users of public transport facilities. A Cabinet decision will only be required if there are objections to the proposals.

The Cabinet Member decided not to implement the proposals.
Reasons for the decision:
The Cabinet Member took into consideration all the comments received during the two consultation periods and decided that the proposals should not be implemented.
Alternative options considered:
A staggered crossing arrangement and a crossing located closer to the roundabout junction with Pulteney Road
