The Cabinet Member agrees that the scheme is implemented as proposed.
Reasons for the decision:
There is strong support for the scheme particularly in regard to the road safety benefits that the reduced speed limit will have at Norwood Avenue junction.
Alternative options considered:
Extending the 30mph limit further, or reducing the 40mph speed limit on Claverton Down Road to a 30mph speed limit.
