Purpose:
The Smarter Structures part of the Being our
Best programme has led to amended job titles for Executive
Directors and Directors. This has necessitated that these job
titles are updated in the Constitution.
Decision:
The Monitoring Officer has the power to
authorise minor changes to the Constitution. He agreed that the job
title changes be made, to ensure the Constitution remains up to
date.
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 - Leaving unamended would render the
Constitution inaccurate, in describing officer delegations and
responsibilities.
