Purpose:
To fully approve £50k provisional
capital budget to support the final stage of delivery of the
Keynsham High Street Heritage Action Zone programme. This funding
forms B&NES match funding to this external £1.1m grant
funded programme but can now be fully approved following allocation
of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for 2023/24. The funding
supports the delivery of the Heritage Action Zone programme
projects as set out in the Grant Fund Agreement agreed by Cabinet
in September 2020.
Decision:
To fully approve capital budget of £50K
funded from Community Infrastructure Levy.
Alternative options considered:
Failure to progress this approval, would leave
parts of the HAZ programme undeliverable and would mean that the
Council does not meet the match funding requirements for the
external grant.
