To identify the options for procuring and
managing an additional 20 bike hangars in B&NES, engage with
stakeholders to identify locations, and implement the delivery and
commissioning.
Decision:
Approve capital expenditure of £163,500
funded by TCF grant allocation awarded to WECA.
£8,600 revenue management charge met from £42 user
charge, with subsidy absorbed from Parking Income if possible or
Income CAZ.
Alternative options considered:
Do nothing and reject the funding allocation .
If we did nothing the Council's service users would miss the
opportunity to benefit from the provision of lockable cycle
parking.
