The decision will enable the Council to allocate grant funding to support the completion of the project to restore and re-open the pools.
Alternative options considered:
Not to award a grant for Cleveland Pools Trust. There is a real risk that without the support from this grant there would be a shortfall in funding the project leaving the pools unopened.
