This updated policy details how Housing Services aim to carry out their enforcement functions in a fair, consistent and helpful manner in accordance with best practice.
Decision:
The Cabinet Member agrees that the Housing Services Enforcement Policy 2018 is adopted.
Reasons for the decision:
An enforcement policy is consistent with the requirements of the Regulators Code and aims to ensure that the Council operates in an open, proportionate, consistent and helpful manner. It is also a prerequisite for the use of Civil Penalties.
