Document Horse Riding Strategy Review (2004-2005)

Investigation was carried out in to the issue of shared access by horse riders to cycle/pedestrian routes. The issues relating to multi-use shared access of pedestrian/cycle routes were examined alongside the proposals made to address the issue. Comments from all parties involved were viewed, and the possibilities of implementing a 12 month trial. Current practice and policies taken by neighbouring local authorities were assessed to identify potential conflicts which could arise.
