1 THE ISSUE

1.1 This report gives details of the financial position to 31st December for 2009/10, and the overdraft position in respect of the Strategic Review.

2 RECOMMENDATION

The Bath Recreation Ground Trust is asked to:

2.1 Note the spend to date for 2009/10

2.2 Note the current spend on the Strategic Review and overdraft position.

3.1 Included in the report.

4 REPORT

4.1 Current Financial Position for 2009/10

(1) The budgeted surplus for 2009/10 before repayment of overdraft is £30,000. Details of the income and expenditure to 31st December are shown in Appendix 1.

4.2 Strategic Review Position

(1) Spend on the strategic review and historic turnstiles totals £256,155 at 31st December. Details of spend are shown in Appendix 2.

4.3 Grant income of £10,000 is being held separately pending a decision on how it is to be spent.

5 RISK MANAGEMENT

5.1 The key risk remains ability of the Trust to deliver the preferred outcome of the Strategic Review, and in particular the future of the Rugby Club which is key to the financial viability of the Trust at this present time.

6 RATIONALE

6.1 The 2009/10 spend and Strategic Review spend are for information only.
