1 THE ISSUE
1.1 This paper gives the Trustees an update on general management issues at the Recreation Ground.

4 THE REPORT
4.1 Car Parking
The line marking of the Tarmac car park in the North area of the Recreation Ground is due to take place in the next few weeks depending on the availability of the contractor. The Traffic Regulation Order is being pursued with the area is being defined as to what the order will cover.
4.2 Considerate Event Organisers Charter
This has been drafted and a draft copy is attached in Appendix A for discussion, this is to be attached to all event lettings. Appendix B details the proposed list of whom the event organisers have to contact.

Draft Considerate Event Organisers Charter
Considerate
The Event organisers must show consideration to the needs of the general public, traders and businesses, site personnel and visitors. Special attention is to be given to the needs of those with sight, hearing and mobility difficulties.
Environment
Be aware of the environmental impact of your event and minimise as much as possible effects of noise, light and air pollution. Efforts should be made to select and use local resources wherever possible. Attention should be paid to waste management and the recycling of materials.
Cleanliness
The Event site is to be kept clean and in good order at all times. Site facilities and toilets should be maintained to a high standard. Surplus materials and rubbish should not be allowed to accumulate on the site or spill over into the surroundings.
Good Neighbour
General information regarding the Event should be provided to the attached list of contacts.
Respectful
Pride in the management and appearance of the Event site and surrounding environment is to be shown at all times. Organisers should be instructed in dealing with the general public.
Safe
Construction operations and site vehicle movements are to be carried out with care and consideration for the safety of Event personnel, visitors and the general public.
Responsible
Ensure that everyone associated with this Event understands implements and complies with this charter. Failure to act in accordance with this charter may result in future applications to hold an event on this site being denied.
