4 THE REPORT

4.1 The West of England Partnership consisting of the four Unitary Authorities and social, economic and environmental partners are preparing a sub-regional spatial planning strategy to help shape the future of the former Avon area including location of development up to 2026. The attached report (see appendix 1) updates Members on progress and programme for completion of the strategy.

5 RISK MANAGEMENT

5.1 This is an update report on the process of the preparation of the sub-regional spatial strategy and as such a risk assessment is not approprite.

6 RATIONALE

6.1 The report updates progress on work on the sub-regional spatial strategy and as such only needs to be noted by the Executive.

7.1 None
