Summary Note on the outcome of the Local Plan Call-In heard by the Planning, Transportation & Sustainability Overview and Scrutiny Panel

This note supplements the papers and notes of the Panel's public meeting to provide a summary statement of the outcome.
The Panel RESOLVED: to uphold the call-in by 4 to 2
The following reasons were given for upholding the call-in:
Reasons
- The Panel felt that St Martin's Garden School were not
sufficiently consulted as a key stakeholder
- The Panel was concerned with the late notification of the
change of plans for St Martin's Garden school
- The Panel felt the decision does not reflect the ambition for the community based on sound evidence of local needs noting that planning policy should be a delivery vehicle for that ambition
