These figures are April 04 to date as compared to the same timeframe in 03
B7 Total crime down from 8253 to 7518
B7 Domestic burglary down from 509 to 391
B7 Vehicle crime down from 1582 to 1104
B7 Robbery down by 38.4%
(Due to the complexity of crimes recorded as robbery, for simplicity, this figure is displayed as a percentage)
We would expect the following three to be on the increase as they have a very low reporting rate and therefore increased may seem to be very large but only equate to one or two more incidents
These figures are April 02/03 compared with April 03/04
B7 Domestic Violence recorded crime is up from 881 to 1265
B7 Racially aggravated recorded crime is down from 137 to 111
B7 Homophobic recorded crime is up from 13 to 22
