PRESENT -: Councillors: Chris Cray (Chairman), Ruth Griffiths, Rosemary Todd, Tim Warren and Stephen Willcox.

Also in attendance: Will Steel (Team Leader PROW), Jenny King (Definitive Map Project Officer) and Simon Elias (Legal Adviser).

38 EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURE

The Chairman drew attention to the emergency evacuation procedure as set out on the Agenda.

39 ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIR(PERSON) (IF DESIRED)

The Committee RESOLVED that a Vice-Chair(person) was not required on this occasion.

40 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

There were none.

There was none.

44 MINUTES: TUESDAY 31ST JANUARY 2006

An amendement from Councillor Rosemary Todd was proposed regarding Minute No.32 so that it should read `That the Committee approve the Minutes from the meeting on Tuesday 11th October 2005'. This was agreed by the whole Committee.

The Committee RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 31st January 2006 as amended be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

45 DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER TO ADD 36 PUBLIC FOOTPATHS IN LAMBRIDGE & WALCOT WARDS, BATH.

The Committee considered the report as prepared by the Definitive Map Project Officer.

The Committee wished to congratulate the team on the substantial work that had been undertaken.

On a motion from Councillor Rosemary Todd, seconded by Councillor Ruth Griffiths it was RESOLVED that the Head of Transportation and Highways be granted delegated authority to take all action to make an Order to Modify the Definitive Map and Statement by adding the public footpaths as shown on the plans at Appendix 1, and to confirm the Order if no duly made objections are received to the Order.

Voting: all in favour. Motion carried.

46 UPDATE OF DEFINITIVE MAP ORDER AND PUBLIC PATH ORDER WORK.

The Committee considered the report as prepared by the Public Rights of Way Technician / Public Rights of Way Team Leader.

On a motion from Councillor Chris Cray, seconded by Councillor Tim Warren it was RESOLVED that the Committee note the current workload and content regarding claims/applications to modify the Definitive Map & Statement, and to divert public paths.

Voting: all in favour. Motion carried.

47 NOTICE OF ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS.

The Public Rights of Way Team Leader notified the Committee of the following possible future items to be heard by the Committee:

City of Bath, Beechen Cliff Boys School - Extinguishment of footpath BC43/1

Combe Hay (Fullers Earthworks) - Diversion of footpath BA7/1

Norton Radstock (Ludlow's Farm) - Diversion of footpath CL24/67

The Committee RESOLVED to note this information.
