On 1st June 2022, Bath & North East Somerset Council received a nomination under Section 89 of the Localism Act 2011 (“the Act”) to list Fox and Badger Public House, Wellow.
The nomination was submitted by Wellow Parish Council.

28/07/2022 - Legal Fees and Charges July 2022 revision ref: 1753    Approved

Unlike statutory fees and charges Local Authorities are not constrained in how they calculate and apply fees and charges for discretionary services they provide. This means the full costs of all aspects of a services provided can be recovered and monies received invested in Council services.

A report published on the weekly list dated 20.08.2021 obtained approval from the Member for Resources and Economic Development to review of Legal Fees on an upward only basis
in accordance with CPI until July 2023. Given the continued financial pressures facing the Council and the Office of National Statistics latest forecast for UK CPI being 9.1% the Fees and Charges have been revised accordingly.

27/07/2022 - Bath West Children's Centre Service Procurement (WL) ref: 1752    Approved

The Bath West Children’s Centre Service is a key part of the Early Help offer for Bath and North East Somerset. The contract expires at the end of March 2023 but it is recommended to extend for a further year until March 2024 before considering the future longer term tender options to allow sufficient time to ensure the future children’s centre service aligns with emerging national key policies and areas of work, such as Family Hubs and SEND Review, to ensure that we go out to tender for the right service.
