To provide £19.8k of Council funding to contribute to site alterations at the Carrswood Gypsy & Traveller Site by Elim. The funding will enable and facilitate the use of three former transit pitches as permanent pitches.

The Bath River Line is a strategic green infrastructure project which will create a linear park through the heart of the city, connecting communities through a level, fully accessible travel route whilst protecting and enhancing the natural environment.  A FBC for Phase I has been submitted to WECA.  We are requesting that the decision to accept the WECA funding be made by a single member once the funding award offered.

26/05/2022 - HCRG Care Group Options Appraisal ref: 1717    Approved

Cabinet on 11th November 2021 considered a report “Virgin Care Contract-Options Appraisal” (E3324). It agreed a recommendation for a three-year extension of Virgin Care’s joint commission to provide adult community health and social care services, children’s health services and some public health services. The full decision is set out here. Following the acquisition of Virgin Care Services Ltd by Twenty20 capital, cabinet will receive an update report on this contract. As these services are jointly commissioned with the CCG, the CCG Governing Body will also receive an update report on 26th May 2022.

16/05/2022 - Appointment of two Non-Executive Directors to the Board of the Aequus Group of Companies (WL) ref: 1710    Approved

Bath & North East Somerset Council is looking to appoint two additional independent Non-Executive Directors to further strengthen and diversify its wholly owned housing company (Aequus Group) Board of Directors. One of the current Non-Executive Directors is standing down from his role at the end of March 2022 and there are 3 other Non-Executive Directors coming to the end of their term within the next few years so, it was proposed to start the recruitment process now to ensure the continuity of Board.
