24/11/2022 - Delegated Authority in Legal Proceedings ref: 1808 Approved
In accordance with section 2.35.5 of the
Constitution the Legal Services Manager hereby delegates authority
to Rebecca Jones (Deputy Team Leader) the power to:-
Institute and conduct all civil and criminal proceedings
by the Council.
Defend or participate in any legal proceedings brought
against the Council (or its employees as a result of
actions incurred during the course of their employment)
or where the Council’s interests are affected and to
negotiate settlement.
To facilitate the discharge of Council functions in so far as
relevant to the role.

negotiate settlement.
The purpose of this delegation is to facilitate the efficient
discharge of Council functions in the recovery of Adult Social Care
debt.

22/11/2022 - Alexandra Park Vehicle Access Controls ref: 1805 Approved
To enable Alexandra park to be closed to
vehicles overnight but allow any cars left in the park to exit
without the need for further assistance. This will be achieved
using bollards, signage, speed ramps, line marking and one-way
traffic flow plates which will allow vehicles to exit the park once
it is locked but prohibit any new vehicles entering
overnight.

equipment in parks during 2022/23 to the value of £224k as
part of our rolling capital programme at locations as follows:

Widcombe Bath, Corston View Bath, RVP Bath, Clandown, Calton Road
Bath, Pennyquick Park
2.To fund play equipment at Sydney Gardens to the value of
£176k, installed as part of the Heritage Lottery
Project.
