I, Councillor Alastair Singleton a Member/Co-opted Member of Bath and North East Somerset Council (The Council) give notice that

I am retired from paid employment, and hold a portfolio of unpaid Director and Trustee roles.
Jane Singleton is a retired Lecturer from the University of Bath. She is a Governor of Prior Park College in Bath.
2. You should declare any payment or provision of any other financial benefit (other than from the Council) made or provided within the last 12 months in respect of expenses incurred by you in carrying out your duties as a member, or towards your election expenses. See note 2
I am a member of the Liberal Democrats. My election campaign was paid for by the Liberal Democrat Party c/o 31 James St West, Bath BA1 2BT
3. You should declare any current undischarged contract made between you, or a body in which you have a beneficial interest, and the Council under which goods or services are to be provided or works are to be executed. See note 3
I am a Director of Keynsham Community Energy, which has an agreement with ADL, B&NES’s property development company, to examine installing a solar PV renewable energy array, which would provide green energy to Keynsham Leisure Centre.
I am also a member and shareholder of Bath & West Community Energy, which works with B&NES Council on renewable energy and climate change issues. I am a trustee of the BWCE Community Fund.
4. You should declare any beneficial interest in land located with the Council’s area (excluding any easement, or right in or over land which does not carry the right to occupy or receive income). See note 4
I own, together with Mrs Jane Singleton, the house and surrounds at Manor Farm House, Chewton Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2SU.
5. You should detail any licence (alone or jointly with others) to occupy land in the Council’s area for a month or longer. See note 5
6. You should detail any tenancy where to your knowledge, the Council is the landlord and the tenant is a body in which you have a beneficial interest. See note 6

You should detail any beneficial interest in securities of a body which has to your knowledge a place of business or land in the Council’s area and either the total nominal value of the securities exceeds £25,000 or one hundredth of the total issued share capital, or one hundredth of the total issued share capital of any class of shares issued. See note 7
I am a (minor) founder shareholder in Avon Mutual, which is seeking to set up a co-operative bank within the former Avon area. WECA and some local councils are in discussions about supporting the bank.
8. You must reveal the name of any person or organisation from whom you have received a gift or hospitality with an estimated value of at least £25 which you have received in your capacity as a member of the Council. See note 8
