Short Breaks for People (18+) with Learning Difficulties (2004-2005)

This short review investigates the issues about the variable access to the service of short breaks for people with learning difficulties. By talking to relevant Social Service departments, users and Carers Associations this review aimed to understand what the current service provision was, how people access the service and also assess the level of planning undertaken to assess future needs of these services (e.g. at transition form child to adult care at the age of 18).
