Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Panel
Description
Police Authorities are being replaced by elected Police and Crime Commissioners in November 2012.
A Police and Crime Panel composed of Councillors from each Authority in the Avon and Somerset Police area, plus co-opted members, has been established as part of the new national arrangements for police governance.
