Updates/Urgent Business Agreed by the Chair PDF 37 KB To note the following Chair’s Updates:
1. At the Bath and North East Somerset Council meeting on 14 March, there was unanimously agreement (across political parties) to pass a motion to treat ‘Care Experience’ as if it were a ‘protected characteristic’. (extract from minutes attached). Board members are asked to consider promoting a similar approach within their organisations. 2. To note that Bath & North East Somerset Council brought Adult Social Work, Learning Disabilities and Direct Payment Services back under its direct control from 1 April 2024.? Update on the transition will be reported to the November meeting. |
