Bath Business Improvement District (BID) - Proposal for Renewal Ballot and new term 2016-2021

Purpose:

The Bath BID has notified the Council that it wishes to hold a renewal ballot in October.  The Council must check that the new proposal does not conflict with local policies or strategies and that the BID has undertaken thorough consultation.

 

Following advice that further information should be considered, an updated report has been submitted and a further period of consultation added.  All appendices remain the same as originally published.

 

Decision:

The Cabinet Member agrees that the Bath BID Company’s new BID proposal (2016-2021) is formally approved.

Reasons for the decision:

The proposal should be approved because it;

 

·  Does not conflict with Council plans and strategies;

·  Meets the requirements set out in the BID Regulations (2004) relating to the content of BID proposals, and

·  The Bath BID Company has undertaken a satisfactory level of consultation with local stakeholders.
