Approval of £804,000 as part of the Council's 2014/15 capital programme. Up to 10% may be used on administrative costs
Decision:
The Cabinet Members agree that:
(1) this funding can be added to the Council’s 2014/15 capital programme
(2) it can be used for the provision of top up grants to residents.
Reasons for the decision:
This funding has been awarded by Government for the express purpose of delivering grant to householders for capital works. A memo of understanding setting out the use of this grant has been signed by the Council and DECC.
Alternative options considered:
This funding cannot be used for any other purpose.
