Cabinet are asked to approve the Council's Family and Friends Care Policy

Decision:

(1) To APPROVE the draft Bath and North East Somerset Family and Friends Care Policy.

Reasons for the decision:

The Local Authority has a statutory duty to have a Family and Friends Care Policy. The attached final draft policy has been drawn up with input from a range of stakeholders, Members and Legal Services.

Alternative options considered:

There is no option in law not to adopt a Family and Friends Care Policy.
